2. Visiting this website
When you visit this website, your browser sends the technical information needed to retrieve its pages and files. This includes your IP address, the requested address, the time of the request and browser information. Hosting systems process this information to deliver the website and maintain its security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure public website. Technical information is retained only for as long as necessary for these purposes or a legal obligation.
Images, video and fonts are served with the website. There are no embedded third-party players, external font requests, analytics or advertising trackers. This website does not set cookies or store information in browser local storage. The background video can be paused.
This corporate website has no customer accounts, checkout, newsletter registration or online application upload. Linked shops operate separately.
3. Contacting FXG
Email links open your email application. Selecting a subject on this website does not send a message. If you send an email, the information you include, your contact details and any attachments are processed to handle your enquiry.
For a request concerning a contract with you, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other business correspondence is handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Email and IT providers involved in handling correspondence may process the information for that purpose.
4. Job applications
You can apply directly by email or through our linked company page on JOIN. JOIN is not embedded in this website; if you choose that option, its own privacy information also applies. We use the information you provide to consider your application and communicate with you about the role. This may include contact details, experience, qualifications, a CV and work examples. Please send information relevant to the application.
The legal basis is § 26(1) BDSG for decisions about establishing an employment relationship. Application information is intended for the people involved in recruitment and the service providers needed to handle correspondence. This website does not automatically score or rank applications.
Application information is kept for as long as needed to complete the recruitment process. After that, it is retained only where necessary to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The legal basis for mandatory retention is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR and for protecting legal claims Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. When those purposes no longer apply, it is deleted. If an employment relationship begins, relevant information becomes part of the employment records.
5. Retention
Correspondence is retained for as long as needed to resolve the enquiry and fulfil applicable documentation or retention obligations. Where information is needed for a legal claim, it may be retained for that purpose until the applicable period ends. Once these purposes no longer apply, the information is deleted. The same principles apply to attachments. Statutory retention is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR; necessary retention for legal claims is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not keep enquiries or applications indefinitely for unrelated purposes.
6. Recipients and your choices
Information is accessible to the people who need it to handle your request or application and to hosting, email and IT service providers involved in that processing. It may also be disclosed where a legal obligation requires this. Contact information is not used for advertising without an appropriate legal basis.
Contacting us is voluntary. We need enough information to understand your request and reply; without it, we may be unable to handle the enquiry. A CV is required to assess a job application. We do not make decisions about you solely through automated processing.
7. Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it for the future.
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The regional authority is the Brandenburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Access to Information.
8. External links
Shop and marketplace links take you to a separate website. Visiting those destinations is subject to their own privacy information. Their content is not embedded into this website.
